Follow our simple step-by-step guide to install and activate your eSIM on iOS or Android devices
Quick Start Guide
After purchasing your eSIM, you'll receive an email with a QR code and detailed instructions. Follow these simple steps to get connected in minutes.
Check your email for QR code
Open Settings on your device
Scan QR code to activate
iOS Installation Guide
Open Settings
On your iPhone, go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data)
Add Cellular Plan
Tap "Add Cellular Plan" or "Add eSIM"
Scan QR Code
Choose "Use QR Code" and scan the QR code from your email. Make sure to display the QR code on another device or print it out.
Tip: If scanning from the same device, you can also enter the activation code manually.
Label Your eSIM
Give your eSIM a label (e.g., "Travel eSIM" or "UK eSIM") to easily identify it
Set as Primary or Secondary
Choose whether to use this eSIM as your primary line or as a secondary line for data only
Activate
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete activation. Your eSIM should be active within a few minutes.
Android Installation Guide
Open Settings
Go to Settings → Connections → SIM card manager(or Network & Internet → Mobile network)
Add Mobile Plan
Tap "Add mobile plan" or "Download a SIM instead"
Scan QR Code
Select "Use QR code" and scan the QR code from your email. Ensure the QR code is displayed on another device or printed.
Note: Some Android devices may require you to download the eSIM profile manually using the activation code provided in your email.
Configure Settings
Set your eSIM preferences, including whether to use it for calls, texts, and data
Activate
Complete the setup process. Your eSIM will be activated automatically within a few minutes.
Important Notes
- One-time installation: Your eSIM can only be installed once. Do not delete or remove it after installation.
- Internet connection required: You need an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to download and activate your eSIM.
- Device compatibility: Ensure your device supports eSIM technology. Most modern smartphones (iPhone XS and newer, Pixel 3 and newer) support eSIM.
- QR code display: When scanning the QR code, display it on another device or print it out. Scanning from the same device may not work.
- Activation time: Your eSIM typically activates within a few minutes after scanning the QR code. In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours.
Troubleshooting
QR Code Not Scanning?
- Ensure the QR code is clearly visible and not blurred
- Try displaying the QR code on a larger screen
- Check that your device camera lens is clean
- Use the manual activation code provided in your email instead
eSIM Not Activating?
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection
- Restart your device and try again
- Check that your device supports eSIM technology
- Verify that you haven't already installed this eSIM on another device
- Wait a few minutes - activation can take up to 24 hours in some cases
