On Android, compatibility includes Samsung Galaxy S20 and above, Google Pixel 3 and later, and a wide range of devices from Sony, Motorola, OnePlus, Oppo, and others.

The eSIM plans sold through eSIM Cards are fresh prepaid plans — they are not a transfer of an existing Bouygues account or physical SIM. If you currently have a contract and want to move that account to an eSIM, that is something to handle directly with Bouygues.

The plan is good for 48+ countries in Europe, so obviously it was made for international travel in that part of the world. If you're inquiring about travel outside of Europe altogether (N. America, Asia, etc), the Bouygues eSIM Europe plan isn't intended to be used in those areas.

First, ensure that you're scanning the code in a well-lit area and holding your camera steady — blurry scans are one of the most common reasons why QR code fails. In addition, make sure you are scanning it from your phone's SIM or eSIM settings, not using your camera app. If the QR code isn’t scanning or keeps coming up as an error after you’ve installed it, contact eSIM Cards support right away.

Refund eligibility turns on whether the eSIM has been activated. If the QR code has not been scanned and the plan has not connected to any network, a refund request is generally supportable. Once the plan has been activated and data, calls, or SMS have been used, the service is considered delivered, and refunds are typically not available.

eSIM profiles are tied to the device they are installed on, so transferring to a new phone is not as simple as moving a physical SIM. If you have changed devices and need to continue using your Bouygues eSIM plan, contact eSIM Cards support as soon as possible.
